These black sitaw beans were freshly harvested and dried in Kalinga by one of the farming communities of E-Care Foundation. We generally stock up twice a year on these in time with the harvest and drying and to make the most of logistics costs. Hence they tend to cook faster and be creamier than regular store-bought beans which have usually been stocked for years.
