We stumbled upon the story while visiting our farmers in La Trinidad. Apparently a missionary had brought the seeds over decades ago and one farmer in the community persisted in planting and replanting it. It made huge health impact in his life so he was more than happy to share it with us. We then shared the seeds with our farmers in Bauko, Mountain Province who began planting it themselves. The toughest part is always harvesting when the tiny seeds are manually separated from the fragile pods. But, here they are, loved by the community and offered to you in the best state we can muster!
